Teton Aerospace, established in 2013, with the goal of utilizing the rapid advances in additive manufacturing to further space exploration and understanding. Our vision is to demonstrate new, more flexible, low cost, rapid development methodologies for space scientists and spacecraft engineers.
Teton capitalizes on this ability to rapidly iterate and adjust design using 3D printing. The long term accomplishments brought forth by the development, launch and operation of CubeSats, and, the new FemtoSat flight demonstration with the PocketQube.
Teton was founded on the principal that continuous disruption is the key to innovation. This applies literally at Teton. Bob Twiggs leads in the charge in changing the current standards he created.
With the recent demonstration of zero gravity 3D printing on the International Space Station by Made In Space, Teton Aerospace saw the dawning of a new age of groundbreaking advancement. Teton Aerospace is one of first aerospace companies to build major composite 3D space qualified structures, now this can be extended to in-space manufacturing. The flexibility manufacturing in space provides is a paradigm shift in the design of satellites and deep space exploration. Teton Aerospace is researching to fully understand the immense impact this technology will have on all aspects of human space exploration.
